Next stop San Clemente. About an hour from San Diego. We’re not travelling massive distances, just taking it slow.
We arrived at our hotel early evening. Hotel Mirama, $110 a night. Great find. Clean, newly renovated. Big spacious rooms with two large double beds with good wifi, fridge and microwave.
The owner recommended we go straight down to the pier to catch the sunset which we did and ate dinner in the Fishermen’s Restaurant on the pier. Great fresh seafood. One of the more expensive meals but well worth it. Around $30 a main meal.
The area is very clean and well kept. Lovely place to stop off.
