When packing for our trip I was slightly worried about Faye needing the toilet in awkward situations and so I googled travel potties. They all seemed to be really big, bulky plastic things and so I instead looked for a type of silicone bowl – a dog bowl. These comes in all shapes, colours and sizes are perfect to fit in your rucksack. It fits easily in our day bag to come along everywhere with us and where it is not rigid you can squash it in the bag. An easy £5 solution to a problem, Faye just had to do a bit of squatting practice!
